Stable housing can provide a platform from which individuals address their substance abuse and/or mental health problems and identify a path to recovery. The opioid epidemic has only created greater need for integrated housing and substance abuse support. Supporting homeless and at-risk individuals with these oftentimes overlapping problems is more important than ever.
