I’m excited to invite you to join me for a webinar to explore the ways in which local funders can work with and support Head Start in their communities. For more than 30 years, the JF Maddox Foundation has viewed education as being a central component of our efforts to improve the lives of people living in Lea County, New Mexico, and we view Head Start as a vital partner in that work. With five sites in our rural county, Head Start is providing many area children and families with access to the comprehensive early childhood education, health and development services they need to succeed.
I hope you will register and make plans to join us on Dec. 10, 3-4:30 p.m. ET, when we will hear from Yasmina Vinci, executive director of National Head Start Association, as she shares how Head Start is embracing innovation as it works to support parents, build the capacity of the the early learning workforce and help all children succeed.

During the webinar, I will have the honor of moderating a conversation with other local funders who are partnering with local Head Start agencies, including Mary Walachy of the Davis Foundation in Springfield, Mass., and Gladys Montes of United Way Miami-Dade.
I hope you will join us as we lift up the potential of partnerships with local Head Start agencies to support our efforts to ensure every child, family and community has an opportunity to succeed.
