2019 NCSHA Legislative Conference

NCSHA’s Legislative Conference addresses the organization’s legislative priorities, bringing together HFA leaders, their board members, and community stakeholders to urge Congress to preserve and strengthen the federal programs HFAs count on to provide housing help to people who need it. In 2018, constituents from 41 states gathered and met with their elected officials. The prevailing message from the podium, as expressed by Senator Coons, “The answer to every single social challenge is housing… If you don’t have housing, you have nothing.”
